A large number of arms and drugs worth lakhs recovered from flying coach during check operation near Muslimabad. Intelligence-based operation arrests Noor, a resident of Waziristan, a member of an inter-district arms and drug smuggler network.
Weapons and drugs seized included 31 pistols of the various bore, two repeater guns, 60 chargers, 6100 rounds of ammunition, and 2 kg of opium. The successful operation was carried out by a police team led by DSP Saddar Sanobar Shah and SHO Jarma Irfan Khan. Weapons and drugs seized during the operation were being smuggled to Waziristan.
A case has been registered against the detained accused in Jarma police station. The smuggler, who was caught with arms and drugs worth millions, has confessed to the crime. The arrested suspect is expected to make important revelations about the network involved in illegal arms and drug trafficking.
