A large number of arms and drugs worth lakhs recovered from flying coach during check operation near Muslimabad. Intelligence-based operation arrests Noor, a resident of Waziristan, a member of an inter-district arms and drug smuggler network.
Weapons and drugs seized included 31 pistols of the various bore, two repeater guns, 60 chargers, 6100 rounds of ammunition, and 2 kg of opium. The successful operation was carried out by a police team led by DSP Saddar Sanobar Shah and SHO Jarma Irfan Khan. Weapons and drugs seized during the operation were being smuggled to Waziristan.
A case has been registered against the detained accused in Jarma police station. The smuggler, who was caught with arms and drugs worth millions, has confessed to the crime.
