Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan has said that the resumption of relations with Israel is conditional on the establishment of an independent Palestinian state. According to the International News Agency, Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan has said that restoration of relations with Israel is conditional on an independent state that is acceptable to the Palestinian people.

These views were expressed by Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan in response to a question about the resumption of relations with Israel. The Saudi foreign minister added that Palestine would be less acceptable than it was in 1967.

Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan also said that the condition for the resumption of relations was a reflection of Saudi Arabia’s vision for Palestine, under which the then Crown Prince Fahd bin Abdulaziz held talks in Fass in 1982.

It is to be noted that the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, and Sudan have resume relations with Israel and the rumors were circulating that the Saudi Crown Prince was meeting with the Crown Prince during his secret visit to Israel.
