Samsung Electronics – A south Korean technology giant – is in the process of establishing its TV lineup plant herein Karachi in collaboration with local partner R&R Industries Pvt Ltd, to produce 50,000 TVs per year.
“I have been informed that Samsung will soon start production of televisions”, said Commerce Advisor Abdul Razak Dawood.
R&R Industries has signed an agreement with Samsung and intends to set up the plant in Korangi Industrial Area. The R&R industry has already started construction and fabrication of factory plants and is expected to be inaugurated in the fourth quarter of the year.
