Shehzad Roy expresses happiness over the ending age limit for B.Ed.

Leading singer Shehzad Roy has expressed happiness over the decision to remove the age limit for teaching course B.ed. Apart from singing, Shehzad Roy is also known for his education and other social services.

He wrote in his tweet on Twitter expressing his opinion about the critical decision, “Under chair of ‪@SaeedGhani1‬ it was heartening to see that STEDA decided tht now there wil b no age restriction on any student who want to pursue B.Ed.This is a big shift from age limit of 28 years which was in effect earlier. A great effort to encourage students to become teachers.”

It may be recalled that the previous Sindh government has decided to abolish the age limit for those interested in teaching and B.Ed. Earlier, the age limit for B.Ed was fixed at 28 years. In this regard, the proposal came up after a long time in the meeting of the Board of Governors of Sindh Teachers Development Authority in which an important decision was taken to remove the age limit for B.Ed after consultation with the participants. Sindh Education Minister Saeed Ghani has said that legislation will be enacted soon regarding the decision to be taken in the meeting.
