Karachi: The Sindh Education Department has decided not to hold winter vacations in educational institutions.
According to the Sindh Education Department, it has been decided not to hold winter vacations in educational institutions this year. According to the decisions of the steering committee, more holidays have already taken place due to coronavirus. So, there will be no winter vacations this year. The Department of Education says winter vacations are unlikely at this time but will be discussed further at the NCOC meeting in late November.
It may be recalled that a meeting of the NCOC for Corona was held under the chairmanship of PM Imran Khan yesterday. In which the Prime Minister said that in the second wave of Corona if we are not careful. There is a fear that hospitals will be filled with patients. They will decide on schools in a week, increase the number of winter holidays and reduce the number of summer vacations.
Earlier in the NCOC meeting, it was said that the proportion of positive cases in educational institutions is increasing. Which needs to be stopped. The panel also proposed to start winter vacations in educational institutions in advance.
