Some Parts of Karachi still without electricity for more than 72 hours after heavy rainfall

Several areas of Karachi are still without electricity after heavy rainfall.
The power outrage is lasting more than 72 hours, in many areas of Karachi including Defence, Clifton, Tower, Orangi, Surjani Town, Naya Nazimabad and old city areas remained inundated with water.
In a a video message, the PTI MPA Shehzad Qureshi blamed the Cantonment Board Clifton (CBC) and the Defence Housing Authority (DHA) for failing to address the situation in the respective areas.
He further said that the roads of defence look like river and residents of DHA were facing losses worth millions .
The Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah said that currently a small amount of water is present in Yousuf Goth, Kharadar and some areas of Defence.
