KARACHI: The Sindh government has claimed that Prime Minister Imran Khan has announced plans for the Sindh government in the Karachi package’s name. Out of 1100, 800 billion projects belong to the Sindh government.
Sources in the Sindh government said that the projects of the federal government worth Rs. 1100 billion have been called into question. The Prime Minister announced projects worth Rs. 1100 billion out of which Rs.800 Is our which is belong to the Sindh government. According to Sindh government sources, the federal government has given only Rs 300 billion to Karachi in Rs 1100 billion, which will be spent in phases.
Sources in the Sindh government have claimed that plans worth Rs 800 billion were announced by Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah two days ago.
It may be recalled that Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah had released details of projects worth Rs 800 billion two days ago. Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah had announced projects worth Rs 800 billion under the People’s Karachi Program at a press conference. The Sindh government had announced water supply, sewerage, solid waste, road infrastructure, and mass transit projects under the People’s Karachi Program.
