The Pak-Afghan border will remain closed on Muharram 9 and 10 due to Muharram in Chaman.
According to security officials, due to Muharram, Chaman border will be closed for all types of pedestrian traffic while import and export will also be completely closed.
Due to Muharram, the Pak-Afghan border is being closely monitored.
It is to be noted that the federal government has declared a public holiday on 9th and 10th of Muharram across the country while mobile service will remain suspended in Imam bargahs and procession routes.
