Pakistani singer-songwriter Rai, who has become a transgender girl, will soon be seen with Mohsin Abbas Haider. The Shaira was born in Sialkot, Punjab, and moved with her parents to the provincial capital, Lahore, as a child, where she studied until college. Pakistani singer and model Shaira Rai, who was born as a boy and changed her gender before her youth, is generally considered as a transgender singer.
In a recent interview with The Independent Urdu, She spoke openly for the first time about her gender and life, and how she faced problems before she changed her gender. She was a boy from birth to puberty, but she never had the feelings of a boy and looked like a girl.
Shaira Rai told The Independent Urdu that she was aware of her sexual problems since childhood and her mother was also aware of her worries. Still, no one believed her words and everyone thought that she was making excuses and doing dramas had problems since childhood and was sexually harassed by her cousin when she was just eight years old. At the age of 12, she was raped by a neighbor and tried to commit suicide by jumping from a three-story building after being harassed by students during college, but luckily she survived.
Earlier this year, her song Raat was released, which was included in the Bollywood film Ghost. Shaira Rai has released several songs at the moment while she has also modeled in many projects. Besides, the song of Shaira Rai will be released soon, in which she will be seen scattering with actor Mohsin Abbas Haider.
