The banned Tehreek e Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has refused to submit to the constitution of Pakistan said they will never lay down weapons.
Muhammad Khurasani the spokesperson of TTP in a written reply has warned that TTP will never accept and submit to the constitution of Pakistan which is against Islamic rules. He said that Pakistan’s constitution was totally anti Islam, saying that the latest Bill regarding acceptance of Islam in 18 years and many other anti Islam Bills were included in the Constitution of Pakistan.
He stated that the motif of TTP’s struggle was to implement Islamic Shariah in the country, saying that their ancestors have sacrificed thousands of lives in the struggle.
He warned that they will not pardon and had never ever apologized to it’s “enemy” as they had pride on their struggle for making Pakistan a real Islamic country through the implementation of Quran and Sunnah. He said TTP offering amnesty to those who submit to the Shariath.
The statement by the Spokesperson of TTP further stated that they believed in meaningful talks about the implementation of Shariath, by following which they get a good impression about their struggle for Islamic Pakistan.
Directly pointing towards several powerful institutions including Army, the statement said that TTP shall continue their fight against Pakistan if the secular military and political leadership opted no to quit following anti Islamic policies.
It must be noted that Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi couple of days ago has said that the Pakistani government would be open to giving a pardon to Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) if they guaranteed not to stay away from terrorist activities and submit to the Pakistani Constitution.
In an interview with The Independent in Islamabad the Foreign Minister said that Pakistan was concerned about the reports of TTP figures being released from prisons in the wake of the Taliban takeover of Afghanistan.
While referring to banned TTP FM had said that if TTP come and start creating problems for Pakistan over there, so it will affect innocent lives and Pakistan did not want that.
