A stampede broke out outside the Pakistani consulate in the Afghan city of Jalalabad to obtain visas, killing 15 people and injuring several others, including a large number of women and the elderly.
According to Afghan officials, the incident took place in an open field where more than 3,000 people had gathered at the time of the stampede to apply for visas.
And there is a stampede, every year millions of Afghan citizens turn to Pakistan for medical treatment, education, business and trade, while the number of Afghan refugees in Pakistan is still around 3 million.
