PYONGYANG: North Korea’s state media has sharply criticized the US-South Korea missile deal as hypocritical.
North Korea’s state media has sharply criticized the May 21 US-South Korea missile deal, calling it a “hypocritical act by the United States.”
This is North Korea’s first response to an agreement reached between the United States and South Korea, but there has been no comment from the top leadership.
North Korea’s official media spokesman and analyst Kim Myung wrote in his article that the United States has challenged North Korea’s integrity by allowing South Korea to develop long-range missiles, so North Korea’s main target is the United States, not South Korea’s military.
It should be noted that under the agreement reached between the leaders of the United States and South Korea, the ban on ballistic missiles on South Korea has been lifted to 800 km, while the ban on North Korea remains in place.
