The car of Manjit Singh, a Sikh resident of Peshawar, caught fire near Monal.
The fire completely destroyed the vehicle while Manjit Singh and his brother escaped unhurt
Manjeet Singh was on his way to Islamabad from Murree to Islamabad and then back to Peshawar from Sohawa on Sunday evening when his car caught fire due to a short circuit.
The fire was reported to the fire brigade but before the fire brigade arrived, the vehicle was completely burnt to ashes.
The road to Persohawa was closed for three hours due to the fire. Police said the fire was caused by a hot car
The vehicle was removed from the road and opened to normal traffic.
