A shocking incident took place at Quetta airport where the daughter of a former commissioner attacked an air hostess on a Serene Air flight.
According to Serene Air officials report, Iftikhar Jogezai and his daughter, Saima Jogezai, were traveling on Serene Air flight 540 from Quetta to Islamabad on March 18, 2025. During check-in, Saima allegedly misbehaved with the airline staff, appeared intoxicated, and blocked other passengers.

After boarding, both father and daughter reportedly argued with the cabin crew and refused to follow instructions. Just as the aircraft was about to take off, Saima stood up again, shouted insults, and threatened the crew, disturbing other passengers.
The captain decided to return the plane and offload them. While Iftikhar Jogezai left, Saima refused and, in a fit of rage, attacked a flight attendant. She punched the air hostess so hard that her nose bled, and one of her teeth cracked.
Airport Security Force (ASF) officers arrested both passengers, while the injured flight attendant was taken to the hospital. The Quetta Commissioner arrived at the airport and spoke to ASF officials about the situation.
At night, both remained in ASF custody, but due to official pressure, the authorities released them. Some credible sources inside airport security confirmed that the former commissioner and his daughter provided a written apology. Following this, they were allowed to leave without facing legal consequences.
